International Links
Furniture Plus Ltd has recently gone international! Following up recent study visits to social enterprises in Poland, and then receiving a group of Polish visitors to our warehouse, we are delighted to have agreed a trans-national partnership arrangement with the world-renowned Barka Foundation.
Using current European funding structures, Furniture Plus and Barka will be working together to create a mutually beneficient exchange programme to share ideas and expertise in setting up and running a social enterprise. We hope to welcome our first Polish exchange students in 2008, and are looking forward to developing this new initiative.
