Q. So, what are Furniture Plus Limited’s aims and objectives?

A. Our objectives are:

  1. To provide goods (including white goods) and furnishings at a price to those who could not otherwise afford them;
  2. To raise awareness of re-use and recycling in the community to benefit Fife’s environment;
  3. To provide worthwhile training and jobs opportunities for members of our community.

Q. How do I donate goods?

A. Just ring! or why not e-mail us. But please do be aware that if something has “seen better days” then it’s better to phone Fife Council for an uplift as it would incur Furniture Plus in unnecessary disposal costs. We provide only re-usable goods and furnishings.

Q. What of those who truly cannot afford to pay for goods and furnishings?

A. Furniture Plus recognises that there are times in some people’s lives when financial commitments are strained. We have a large client base referred to us by other statutory bodies and our staff are experienced in dealing with clients who require extra assistance. All personal circumstances remain confidential and help is always available.

Q. Why should I donate?

A. You will not only be helping someone but you, yourself, will feel good about having made a real difference to someone’s life.

Q. What areas do you cover?

A. At present Fife-wide but we plan to eventually grow the company from a strong local base.

Q. Do you take electrical goods?
A. Yes, we do. All electrical goods are tested for safety at out warehouse before being redistributed to the public.

Q. Will it cost me anything?
A. No. We will collect free of charge.
